The department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2009 with an annual intake of 60 students, to cater the advanced industry demand for the qualified professionals in the field of Mechanical Engineering. The laboratories of the department are well equipped with advanced and sophisticated instruments, to fully satisfy the training needs of the students.

The students in the department are actively participated motivated and formed an "Association of Mechanical Engineering's. The objective of the Technical Association is to encourage participating and conducting various academic & extra-curricular activities in the advanced fields of FEA, CFD, Nano Technology, DFMA, Design Optimization etc.
